Removing and installing fuel gauge senderG
Removing and installing fuel gauge sender -G-
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Spanner -T10202-
  W00-1334
t  Torque wrench (40 - 200 Nm) -V.A.G 1332-, see equivalent → Anchor
Fuel gauge senders -G-: Removing → Anchor
Fuel gauge senders -G-: Fitting → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
  W00-0428
–  Release plug connectors -1- and -2- and pull off.
–  Lever off retaining lugs -3- and -4- using a screwdriver and pull fuel level sender off downwards -arrow-.
Installing
–  Insert fuel level sender in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.
–  Insert connector and check they have engaged properly.
–  Install fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
