Check the tool and equipment equivalence table according to the applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter

Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Spark plug spanner -3122 B-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Tightening torque -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Compression tester -V.A.G 1763-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Extractor -T10094A-, see equivalent → Anchor
Test requirements:
l  Engine oil temperature at least. 30 ?.
Operation process
–  Remove the 4-pin connectors from the ignition coils arrows.
–  Remove ignition coils using the extractor -T10094A-. → Chapter
–  Remove the guide with cable harness from the camshaft housing.
–  Remove the spark plugs using the spark plug spanner -3122 B-.
–  Remove the fuse for the injector from the fuse holder. Fuse allocation → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
  Note
When removing the fuses, the power supply of the injectors and the ignition coils is interrupted.
–  Check compression with compression tester -V.A.G 1381- or -V.A.G 1763-
  Note
See relevant test unit operating instructions for instructions on how to use test unit.
–  Operate starter until tester shows no further pressure increase.
Compression values:
new: 10 - 15 bar
Wear limit: 7 bar overpressure
Max. difference allowed between both cylinders: 3 bar
–  Screw in the spark plugs with the spark plug wrench -3122 B- and tighten to 30 Nm.
Continue installation following reverse order for removing.
–  Consult fault memory; if necessary, repair any faults and then erase fault memory → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051“guided fault finding”
After deleting the fault memory, the conformance code must be generated.
