Exhaust system: Align so that components are free of stress
Exhaust system: Align so that components are free of stress
l  The exhaust system must be installed cold.
–  Loosen bolted connections of front double clamp → Item.
   
–  Move the exhaust system until the tension in the right-hand rear silencer bracket is a = 5 ... 11 mm.

–  Install double clamp so that the bolt end -arrow- does not project over the clamp lower edge.
l  Bolted connection must point to the right.
–  Tighten bolt connections of double clamps evenly to 25 Nm.

Align the rear silencer
–  Align the rear silencer so that between the cut in the bumper and the end tube there is an equal distance -a- and -b-.
  Note
It may be necessary to release the rear silencer fastening in order to align the end tubes.
