1 - Seal
q   replace
2 - Lambda probe -G39-
q   Cylinder bank 1, probe 1
q   55 Nm
q   The thread on new Lambda probes is coated with high-temperature paste
q   If re-using the Lambda probe, coat only the thread with high temperature paste; the paste must not get into the slots of the probe body
q   Hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-
3 - Front exhaust pipe with catalytic converters
  Caution
Risk of damage to the vibration damper section!
t  Do not bend decoupling element more than 10°.
t  Install decoupling element so that it is not under tension.
t  Take care not to damage wire mesh on decoupling element.
q   Protect catalytic converter from damage by knocks and impact
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Align exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter.
4 - Suspension
q   If this is damaged, replace it
5 - Lambda probes after the catalytic converter -G130-
q   Cylinder bank 1, probe 2
q   55 Nm
q   The thread on new Lambda probes is coated with high-temperature paste
q   If re-using the Lambda probe, coat only the thread with high temperature paste; the paste must not get into the slots of the probe body
q   Hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-
6 - 25 Nm
7 - Securing bolt
q   25 Nm
8 - Seal
q   replace
9 - 40 Nm
q   replace
q   Lubricate studs of exhaust manifold with high-temperature lubricant.
q   Hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-
