1 - Toothed belt guard - lower part
2 - Toothed belt guard - centre section
3 - 10 Nm
4 - Console
5 - 45 Nm
6 - Toothed belt guard - upper part
7 - Notched belt
q   Before removing this, mark the rotation direction
q   Check for wear
q   Do not bend
q   Removing and fitting, tightening → Chapter
8 - 25 Nm
9 - Washer
10 - 100 Nm
q   Use tool -T20018A- to loosen and tighten
11 - Cogwheel for camshaft
q   Note the fitted position: The narrow core of the camshaft cogwheel should face outwards and the TDC mark should be visible
12 - Camshaft cogwheel protection
13 - 10 Nm
14 - Pin
q   Ensure correct seating
15 - Hall sender -G40-
q   Ensure the correct seating of the base plate when tightening the bolts
16 - 10 Nm
17 - Toothed belt guard - rear
18 - 20 Nm
19 - Semi-automatic tension roller
q   Installation position → Fig.
q   Checking → Chapter
20 - Coolant pump
q   Ensure that smooth rotation without problems
q   In case of a fault or incorrect seal: replace completely
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
21 - 15 Nm
22 - Timing belt cogwheel, crankshaft
q   There must be no oil on the contact surface between the toothed belt and the crankshaft
23 - 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°)
q   Replacement
q   Use tool -T20018A- to loosen and tighten
q   Threads and shoulder must be free of oil and grease

   
Semi-automatic tension roller, fitting position
–  The retention claw -arrow- must be inserted into the cylinder head rebate.
