  Note!
t  Note the use by date of the sealant.
t  The sealing flange must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the silicone sealant.
   
–  Cut the tip of the tube at the highest mark (diameter of the nozzle: approximately 3 mm).
–  Apply silicone sealing compound, as shown, to clean sump sealing surface.
t  Thickness of applied sealant -arrows-: 2 … 3 mm
  Note!
The thickness of the applied sealant should not be any thicker, if so, excess sealant might enter into the oil sump, obstructing the oil suction filter.

–  Apply silicone sealing compound, as shown, to clean sump sealing surface.
–  Fit sealing flange immediately and lightly tighten all bolts.
  Note!
Use guide sleeve -T20081B/4- to fit sealing flange with the oil seal already installed.
–  Tighten the attachment bolts for the oil seal crossways to a torque of 15 Nm.
–  Fit the oil sump → Chapter.
  Note!
After installing sump the sealant must be allowed to dry for approx. 30 minutes. After this time has passed, the sump may be filled.

–  Fit the crankshaft cog wheel for the toothed belt using the locking tool -T20018A-.
–  Tighten the new centre bolt to a torque of: 90 Nm + 1/4 turn. (90°).
  Note!
Thread and shoulder must be free of oil and grease.
–  Fit the notched belt → Chapter.
