Check the stroke transmitter of the regulator slideG149 überprüfen
Check the stroke transmitter of the regulator slide -G149- überprüfen
   
–  Disconnect the 10 contact connector for the fuel temperature transmitter (connector to the dosing servomechanism of the injection pump).
  E23-0034
–  Measure the resistance between contacts 1+2 and 2+3 of the connector.
   Theoretical value: 4,9 ... 7,5 Ω
If the theoretical value is not reached:
–  Replace the injection pump → Chapter.
If the theoretical value is achieved:
  A23-0027
–  Connect the -V.A.G 1598/22- checking box to the cable harness of the control unit.
  N24-0709
–  Check for breakage in the cables between the checking box and the connector, following the current circuit diagrams.
   Contact 1+female 56
   Contact 2+female 57
   Contact 3+female 64
   Cable resistance: 1,5Ω max.
–  Additionally, check the cables for short circuiting between them, to ground and to battery positive.
   Theoretical value: ∞ Ω
If no fault is found in the cables:
–  Replace the engine control unit -J248- → Chapter.
