Test conditions
l  Correct fuse 15
Checking process
–  Remove the air inlet duct.

–  Remove the rubber protection from the throttle actuator connector -V60-.
–  Connect the diode lamp -V.A.G 1527 B- using the -V.A.G 1594 C- auxiliary cables connected to the pins 2+4.
–  Begin the actuator diagnostic → Chapter
When the throttle actuator is activated the diode should flash.
If the LED does not flicker:
–  Press keys 0 and 6 for the “End output” function and confirm input with the Q key.
  V24-1133
–  Extract the connection -1- from the throttle actuator -2-.
–  To measure the voltage, connect the multimeter to the contacts 3+4 of the connector, using the auxiliary cables from the -V.A.G 1594 C-.
   Specification: 11 V minimum.
–  Switch ignition off.
  N24-0144
–  Connect the tester -V.A.G 1598/18- to the control unit cable harness.
–  Check the cables between the test box and the 6-pin connector plate for an open circuit following the current circuits diagram.

Cable resistance: 1.5 Ω max.

–  Additionally, check the cables for any short circuits between themselves.
   Specification: ∞ Ω
If no wiring fault is detected and voltage was present between contacts 3+4:
–  Replace the throttle actuator -V60-.
If no wiring fault is detected and no voltage was present between contacts 3+4:
Verify the cables between the pin 3 and the relay plate as well as the pin 4 and the engine earth connection according to the electric current circuits diagram
