ABS control unit -J104- and ABS hydraulic unit -N55 -: installation
  Note
t  Do not remove the anti-humidity plugs until fitting the corresponding brake lines.
t  If the plugs are removed from the control unit beforehand, brake fluid may leak out, and therefore the fluid level and bleeding will be incorrect.
t  When assembling, ensure that the shock absorber rubbers do not protrude from the console.
–  Install in reverse order.
–  Remove the block for the brake pedal -VAG 1869/2-.
–  Bleeding air from the brake system → Chapter.
–  Code radio.
–  Code the ABS control unit -J104- using the "Guided fault location" of the → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
   
Specified torques: 
Control unit to hydraulic unit
t  Use new bolts!
5.5 Nm
Hexagon bolt of hydraulic unit to bracket8 Nm
Brake lines to ABS group: 
Thread M10 x 114 Nm
Thread M12 x 114 Nm
