Fitting a new control unitJ104 > < ABS control unit J104 and ABS control unit and ABS hydraulic unitN55 : removal.
Unscrew the ABS control unitJ104 from the ABS hydraulic unit N55
Unscrew the ABS control unit -J104- from the ABS hydraulic unit - N55-
–  Place the ABS control unit -J104- with theABS hydraulic unit -N55- upwards on a clean and flat surface.
   
–  Screw out Torx bolts -arrows-.
  N45-10043
–  Remove the ABS hydraulic unit -N55--arrow- perpendicularly without tilting.
–  Carefully remove all the seals to the hydraulic unit valve stems.
  WARNING
t  When the control unit has been removed, the printed circuit board is visible.
t  Do not allow dirt or damp to enter the control unit.
t  Hydraulic pump is not to be separated from hydraulic unit.
t  Avoid electrostatic discharge!
–  Cover the control unit solenoids with a lint-free cloth.
–  After separating the control unit from the hydraulic unit, cover the valves with the transport protection.
