1 - Axle body
2 - Brake line
3 - Hand brake cable
4 - Cross-head bolt
q   4 Nm
5 - Brake disc
6 - Plug.
q   Removal and installation of vehicles with disk brakes → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr. 42
7 - Twelve-sided, self-locking nut
q   70 Nm + 30°
q   Replace after each removal
8 - Wheel housing with wheel bearing and sensor ring
q   Sensor ring integrated into bearing oil seal
q   Always replace entire unit
q   Removal and installation of vehicles with disk brakes → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr. 42
9 - Bolt and washer
q   30 Nm + 90°
10 - Cover plate
11 - Axle connection
12 - ABS rev. sensor
q   Verified by self-diagnosis
q   Before fitting the sensor, clean the inner surface of the hole and apply solid lubricant paste → Parts catalogue.
q   Removal and fitting, vehicles with disc brakes → Chapter
13 - Hexagon socket head bolt
q   8 Nm
