Brake pads: removing and fitting - Brembo front wheel brake > < Removal:

Before fitting the new brake pads, press the cylinder of the brake callipers. Before pressing the piston back, draw off brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle. Otherwise, -if brake fluid has been replaced- it might leak and cause damage.
   
–  Retract the brake calliper cylinder using the tool -T20168 -. Ensure that the protection hoods for the cylinders are not damaged.
–  Carefully fit the brake pads.

–  Fit the pad support spring and insert the support pins in the direction of the -arrow A- on to the brake callipers. When doing this, press the pad support spring -arrow B- down a little until the notch of the support pin protrudes over the edge of the spring.

–  If necessary, press the cable of the brake pad wear indicator -3- into the groove on the brake calliper.
–  Extract the protection hood -2- and fit the cable -3- in the tab of the hood. Next, reinsert the protection hood onto the breather valve.
–  Fit the brake pad wear indicator connector-1- in the telescopic arm.
