1 - 4 Nm
2 - Brake disc
q   Thickness: 9 mm
q   Wear limit: 7 mm
q   If worn, always replace by axles
3 - Protective cap
q   Always replace.
q   Removing and fitting → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.42
4 - 70 Nm + 30°
q   Replace after each removal
5 - Wheel hub and bearing assembly
q   For vehicles fitted with ABS, the sensor ring is fitted in the wheel hub.
q   Replace entire unit
q   Removing and fitting → Running gear, axles, steering; Rep. Gr.42
q   Allocation → Spare parts catalogue
6 - 30 Nm + 90°
q   Replace after each removal
7 - Cover plate
8 - Axle connection
9 - ABS rev. sensor
q   Before fitting the sensor, clean the inner surface of the hole and apply solid lubricant paste → Parts catalogue.
10 - 8 Nm
11 - Axle body
12 - Hand brake cable
q   Adjusting handbrake → Chapter
13 - 30 Nm + 30°
14 - Hoses and brake pipe
q   With hollow bolt and sealing washers
q   Do not dismantle, replace complete
q   Tightening moment of the hollow screw 35 Nm
q   Do not unscrew to change the brake pads
15 - 35 Nm
q   Replace
16 - Brake calliper
q   removing and fitting → Chapter.
17 - Brake pads
q   Do not unscrew hose when replacing brake pads
q   Always replace by axles
q   removing and fitting → Chapter.
q   Thickness: 16.9 mm, including mounting plate
q   Wear limit: 2.0 mm without mounting plate
q   Check the thickness → Booklet
18 - Brake pad retaining springs
q   Always replace when brake pads are replaced
19 - Brake back plate with guide pins and protective cover
q   These are delivered as a spare part unit and are sufficiently lubricated in the guide pins
q   If the protective covers or the guide pins have been damaged, fit the whole repair unit. Use the attached grease to lubricate the guide pins
