  Note
If the brake pads are to be re-used, before removing them from the brake carrier, mark their positions for posterior fitting. Put them back in the same positions, otherwise, the braking effect will not be even.
–  Remove wheels.
   
–  Remove securing bolts from brake calliper, when doing this counter-hold on guide pins.
–  Remove brake caliper and secure with wire so that weight of brake caliper does not strain or damage brake hose.

–  Remove brake pads and pad retainers -arrows-.
Cleanliness:
  WARNING
Never clean the brake system with compressed air; harmful dust particles will be released.
–  Thoroughly clean the application surface for the pad retention plate (brake pads) on the brake calliper, remove any corrosion.
–  Clean the brake calliper.
Use only methylated spirits for cleaning the brake caliper housing.
