t  When carrying out repairs, install all parts supplied in repair kit.
t  Use only methylated spirits to clean the brake caliper
t  Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.
1 - Grease cap
q   Fit onto bleeder valve
2 - Bleeder valve, 13 Nm
q   Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to thread before screwing in.
3 - Hexagon bolt, 35 Nm
q   Always renew if removed
4 - Guide pin
5 - Protective cap
q   Insert into brake carrier and guide pin groove; grease groove beforehand, use repair kit grease pack.
6 - Brake back plate
q   Supplied as replacement part, assembled with guide pin and protective caps, and with sufficient grease on guide pins.
q   If the protective covers or the guide pins have been damaged, fit the whole repair unit. Use grease sachet supplied to lubricate the guide pins.
7 - Protective cap
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Take care not to damage when inserting piston.
8 - Piston
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Apply thin coat of assembly paste G 052 150 A2 to piston before inserting.
9 - Seal
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
10 - Brake caliper
