In the event that a test platform for four-wheel drive vehicles is not available, a standard single axle roller platform may be used as follows:
In the event that a test platform for four-wheel drive vehicles is not available, a standard single axle roller platform may be used as follows:
–  Raise vehicle onto rollers by driving forwards.
–  Switch off engine and wait for 2 seconds.
–  Run braking test for front wheels.
–  Start engine and wait 5 seconds until an adequate vacuum has been generated.
–  Move vehicle forwards until the rear wheels are on the rollers.
–  Switch off engine and wait for 2 seconds.
–  Run braking test for rear wheels.
–  Start engine and wait 5 seconds until an adequate vacuum has been generated.
