When pulling off control unit, ensure that the hydraulic unit valve contact pin is not canted on control unit solenoid valves. |
The contact pin -1- supplied as a spare part for the control unit can only be clipped in once and then cannot be removed. |
Cover control unit solenoid valves with a lint-free cloth. |
After separating control unit and hydraulic unit use transportation protection for valve contact pin. |
Installing a new control unit |
Caution Severe shocks (e.g. dropping, impact) may destroy the control unit. The control unit must not then be used. |

| Before the new control module can be installed, the pump motor adapter must be inserted to stop and must engage. The adapter guide must not be damaged. |

| The adapter supplied as a spare part for the control module can only be engaged once and then cannot be removed. |

| The white casting mass on the bottom of the control module serves as a seal and must not be removed. |
t
| All contact surfaces on the adapter, pressure sensor and control module, and the silicone gel and sealing elements must not be touched with hands or objects, soiled or damaged. |

| Press adapter into adapter guide to stop; it must then be engaged. |

| Without canting it, place control module onto hydraulic unit. |

| Bolt hydraulic unit and control unit with the new Torx bolts which are enclosed. |
Note! t
| A new control unit may be mounted on an existing hydraulic unit max. twice to guarantee impermeability of the elastic seal. |

| A control unit which has already been operated in a vehicle must not be installed a second time. |
