Separating brake pedal from brake servo > < Hand brake cable: removal and fitting (vehicles with drum brakes)

  Caution
The brake pedal travel must not be restricted by additional floor coverings.
  Note!
Grease all mountings before installing with polycarbamide grease Part No. G 052 142 A2.
   
1 - Mounting bracket
q   Removing and installing → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
2 - Self-locking hexagon nut, 25 Nm
q   Qty. 4, for securing the brake servo
3 - Pivot pin for clutch and brake pedal
q   Installation position: The surrounding groove -arrow- is on the clutch pedal side.
4 - Circlip
q   Ensure secure seating.
5 - Hexagon bolt, 40 Nm
6 - Brake light switch
q   Before installing brake light switch, secure brake pedal to brake servo push rod.
q   Adjusting brake light switch → Chapter.
7 - Mounting bush for brake pedal
8 - Brake pedal
9 - Cap
10 - Mounting bush
q   For mounting the column tube with steering column
11 - Clutch pedal switch
q   Removing and installing → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
q   Adjusting → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
12 - Bump stop
q   For accelerator pedal
q   Insert into mounting bracket.
13 - Hexagon bolt, 20 Nm
q   Qty. 2
14 - Over-centre spring
q   Removing and installing → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
15 - Stop
q   For clutch pedal
q   When positioning, mounting bracket must engage between locking lugs and gasket
q   Installation position: Flattened side points upwards
q   Adjusting → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
16 - Clutch pedal
q   Removing and installing → 6-speed manual gearbox 02N; Rep. Gr.30
17 - Mounting
18 - Circlip
q   Ensure secure seating.
