–  Loosen the nut of the steering driveshaft -1-.
–  Remove the bolt -2-.

–  Remove the connecting rods from the stabilizer bar -arrow-.
  N40-0099
–  Loosen the clamps -1- for the stabilizer bar from the strut support.
–  Place the elevator -V.A.G 1383 A- under the strut support.

–  Remove the pendulum support from the strut -arrow-.

–  Loosen the front exhaust pipe from the strut support -arrow-.
  N40-0433
–  Loosen the bolts from the strut support -arrows-.
–  Lower the strut support with the elevator -V.A.G 1383 A-.
