Control arm link, check > < Removal:
Installing
Installing
–  Install in the reverse order to removal.
–  Secure the stabiliser bar to the subframe. Tightening torque → Anchor
–  Sit the strut on the bodywork, using the fastening devices - T10096 - .
–  Permanently secure the strut to the bodywork. Replace the fastening devices -T10096- with new bolts in an alternate sequence.
–  Secure the pendulum support to the gear box Tightening torque → Anchor
–  Screw the link bar to the stabiliser bar. Tightening torque → Anchor
–  Bolt the ball joint to the transverse swinging arm. Tightening torque → Anchor
–  To tighten the screws to the respective tightening torque, raise the suspension until the unladen weight position is reached → Chapter.
Tightening torques of the front axle → Chapter.
–  Install the lower sound insulation → Bodywork, exterior installation work; Rep. gr. 50 .
–  Fit the front wheels. Tightening torque → Chapter
An axle alignment has to be carried out if the subframe is replaced → Chapter.
  Note
t  After assembly, the steering wheel position must be checked during a test drive.
t  If the steering wheel is not in the straight position facing forwards, an axle alignment must be carried out → Chapter. .
