Replacing the bearing bracket with rubber-bonded metal mount of the control arm > < Pressing out bonded rubber bush

–  Coat the outer part of the bonded rubber bearing with lubricating oil → Parts catalogue .
–  Insert the bonded rubber bearing together with the pressure tool -U-40501A- onto the transversal swinging arm as shown in the figure.
–  Press the bonded rubber bearing using the nut of the pressure tool -U-40501A- until the lip of the bearing is free of the transversal swinging arm orifice.

There should be the same spacing -a and b- on both sides.
  Note
The transversal swinging arm with the bonded rubber bearing, should only be secured to the console once the measurement taken before removal, → Chapter level -a- height of unloaded vehicle off the ground, is reached.
–  Fit the transversal swinging arm with the support bracket onto the subframe → Chapter.
