Removing
   
–  Open cover -1-.
–  Unscrew the star bolts -2-.
–  Pull back the cover for the hand brake lever.

–  Remove the hand brake cables from the brake lever -arrows-.
–  Remove wheels.

–  Remove the hand brake cable attachment clamp -arrow 1-.
–  Extract the handbrake cables from the gain.
–  Place the engine and gearbox elevator -SAT 1001 A-.

–  Remove the revolution sensor -arrow 1- and release it from the attachment -arrow 2- (vehicles with ABS).
–  Unscrew the shock absorber -arrow 3- from the rear axle.

–  Release the attachment clips -1-.
–  Separate the brake lines -2- with the tool -A-56126-.
–  Release the ABS sensor cables -3- (if fitted).
For vehicles without ABS:
  N42-0098
–  Remove the nut and bolt -arrow- securing the braking force regulator spring to the axle. Mark the assembly position.

–  Remove the hand brake cables from the brackets -arrow A- .
–  Unscrew the attachment nuts -arrows- from the spring flanges.

–  Lower the rear axle using the engine and gearbox elevator -SAT 1001 A-.
–  If necessary, use a lever on the central spring bolt to remove it from the rear axle -arrows- .
