Steering column, steering mount: assembly overview |
Note
t | No welding or straightening work is allowed on the elements of the steering system. |
t | Always replace any self-locking nuts and bolts. |
t | Always replace corroded bolts/nuts. |
Remove and fit the steering column with the steering mount → Chapter. |
Dismantle and assemble the steering mount and the steering column → Chapter |

q | With steering lock auto lock: this cannot be disassembled |
q | Above a torque of 100 Nm on the steering wheel, the steering column will turn with the steering wheel without damaging the locking pin |

q | Insert using a plastic mallet |
