Retractor ring with collector ring: removing and fitting

Airbag unit on driver side and steering wheel removed.

–	Disconnect the individual connector for the horn.

–	Loosen the star headed screws -1-, and remove the retractor ring with collector ring -2- from the steering wheel.

Note

t	The retractor ring with collector ring must be removed and fitted with the steering wheel in the central position (wheels straight).

t	The retractor ring with collector ring is fastened in the central position by means of a clamp when it is supplied as new spare part.
