  Note
t  Always renew self-locking bolts and nuts. No welding or adjustment work is allowed on the elements of the steering system.
t  To grease the steering rack, use grease for the steering box -AOF 063 000 04-.
t  Always renew self-locking bolts and nuts.
t  Type: Hydraulic oil -G 002 000-.
t  Quantity of oil in the system: approx. 0.8 l
t  Except for the replacement of the track rods and dust guards, no other repairs have been foreseen The necessary data will be found → Chapter.
1 - 8 Nm
2 - Heat shield
3 - Seal
4 - Power steering sensor -G250-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
5 - 5 Nm
6 - 20 Nm + further 1/4 (90°)
q   Replace after each removal
7 - Steering rod
8 - Pressure pipe
9 - Banjo bolt, 40 Nm
10 - Seal
11 - Union nut 30 Nm
12 - Seal
13 - Return hose
14 - Steering box
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
15 - Subframe
q   With groove as shown in the illustration, only if the front exhaust tube is placed below the subframe
q   With groove, not shown in the illustration, only if the front exhaust tube is placed above the subframe
16 - 50 Nm + further 1/4 (90°)
q   Replace after each removal
