Removal
–  Observe the rules for cleaning before beginning fitting work → Chapter
The steering bars can only be removed and fitted while the steering box is removed.
–  Remove the steering box → Chapter.
–  Close the pipe connections on the power steering box if this is not already done.
–  Clean the power steering casing outside around the dust guards.
–  Open the clamp and move the dustguard backwards.
   
–  Secure the steering box in a bench vice and unscrew the steering rod.
