Before carrying out any work on the electrical system and disassembly of the steering wheel, the following operations should be carried out:
t  For vehicles fitted with an anti theft code radio, find the code
t  Connect the earth connection to the battery.
t  Centre the steering wheel.
t  If these instructions are not followed, the airbag system may fail later!
Ensure that the wheels are straight
–  Extract the bolts -3- securing the airbag.
–  Remove the airbag unit from the steering wheel and release the horn connectors -4- and the airbag connector -5-.
