t  Replace seals.
t  Never re-use the hydraulic oil.
   
1 - Poly-V belt pulley
q   When fitting the vane pump pulley, check that it is aligned with the crankshaft pulley
2 - Allen screw, 25 Nm
q   Immobilize with the -V.A.G 1590- to loosen and tighten
3 - Poly-V belt
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue“ETKA”
q   Tighten → Chapter
4 - Pressure piping
5 - Seals
6 - Hollow screw, 40 Nm
7 - Hose clamp
8 - Suction hose
9 - Vane pump
q   Before fitting it, fill with oil ⇒ note on page → Chapter
q   Fitting → Chapter
10 - Hexagonal bolt M8 x 32, 25 Nm
11 - Hexagonal bolt M8 x 85, 25 Nm
12 - Hexagonal bolt M8 x 50, 25 Nm
13 - Hexagonal bolt M8 x 50, 25 Nm
14 - Support
q   Check that it is fastened without tension → Chapter Fitting the vane pump
15 - Centroid clamp
q   Check that it is fastened without tension → Chapter Fitting the vane pump
16 - Hexagonal bolt M10 x 98, 45 Nm
17 - Hexagonal bolt M8 x 42, 25 Nm
18 - Bolt, 25 Nm
q   Not fitted in vehicles with diesel engines
19 - Adjusting bolt, 25 Nm
q   Tighten, → Chapter
20 - Tensor clamp
21 - Hexagonal nut, 25 Nm
22 - Hexagonal bolt, 25 Nm
23 - Hexagonal nut, 25 Nm
24 - Console
