Scraping: correction

Visual identification

Required verifications

l	Check the tyres for cuts and structural damage.

WARNING

If the tyres are more than six years old or wear exceeds the permitted limits then they must be replaced → Chapter.

If only two tyres are replaced then these must be placed on the rear axle.

Procedure

–	Remove the affected wheels → Chapter.

Note

If the tyres have a particular direction of rotation then do not change this.

–	Remove the tyres then rotate them on the same rim → Chapter.

–	Fit the wheels and tighten the bolts to the correct torque → Chapter.

–	Check the tyre pressure and correct if necessary.
