Modified subframe connection to body
Modified subframe connection to body

At start of standard production, the rear nut -arrow- was welded to longitudinal member.
Therefore, in the event of thread damage, the nut must be repaired as described on page → Chapter.
The bolt M14 x 1.5 x 95 must be used for this nut.
  N40-0130
Later, the nut was no longer welded. For this reason, its collar then had a flat -arrow-. It was used up to vehicle No. 7M-T-9697.
If threads are damaged, this nut can be renewed.
1 - Hexagon bolt 14 x 1.5 x 95
2 - Nut with flat
Do not reuse used bolts and nuts!
The nut with flat will not be supplied as a replacement part.
A hexagon cap nut will be supplied instead ⇒ Fig. N40-0175.
The hexagon cap nut was also incorporated into the standard design starting from vehicle No. 7M-T-9698. It is not welded either.
  N40-0131
If the hexagon cap nut is fitted, hexagon bolt 14 x 1.5 x 90 must be used.
1 - Hexagon bolt 14 x 1.5 x 90
2 - Hexagon cap nut
