| Removing and installing driver's airbag unit |
| – | Disconnect battery earth strap. |
| – | Release steering column adjustment. |
| – | Turn steering wheel -1- until steering wheel spoke is vertical. Pull out steering column completely and push down to lowest position. |
| – | Secure steering column adjustment. |
| – | Insert screwdriver (approx. 175 mm long) from the reverse side into hole of steering wheel hub (insert screwdriver approx. 45 mm). |
| – | Press screwdriver in direction of arrow. When doing this the clip-9- is pressed back and the locking lug -3- of the airbag unit is released. |

| – | Reconnect connector to airbag unit. |
| – | Insert airbag unit into steering wheel. |
| Airbag unit locking lugs must audibly engage! |
| – | Secure steering column adjustment. |
| – | Switch on ignition. |
