Tyres with different tread |
Some tyres have different treads depending on the arrangement of their tread blocks: |
Standard or non-directional tyres |
l
| The tread blocks have no particular arrangement. |
l
| The tyre has a certain direction of rotation and must be mounted in a specific position on the rim. |
l
| The direction of rotation is normally indicated by the small arrow or the word „rotation“. |
l
| The tread blocks differ on each tyre side whereby the side has special traction conditions. |
l
| The outside of the tyre (normally indicated by the word „Outside“ on the side), should never be mounted on the inside of the rim. |
Mix (directional + asymmetric) |
l
| This is a combination of both characteristics. |
