Bulb for the side light: replace
Bulb for the side light: replace
  Note
There are two parking light bulbs
Removing bulb 1
   
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
–  Turn light switch to „0“ position.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows-.
–  Disengage solenoid valve 1 for the active carbon vessel -N80--item 1- on the air duct.
–  Remove air duct -2-.

–  Unhook retaining spring -arrow- and remove the cover of the dipped beam headlight from headlamp housing -1-.

–  Pull bulb -1- out toward rear in direction of cover by pressing catch on bulb socket.
  Note
–  Remove bulb socket -1- for parking light bulb from housing.
–  Pull side light bulb out of holder.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Insert new bulb in bulb holder, taking care not to touch glass bulb with bare hands.

–  Press bulb holder for side lights into reflector until you feel it engage.
Removing bulb 2
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers and take out ignition key.
–  Pull bulb and bulb socket -1- out in direction of cover by pulling on handle.
–  Pull bulb out of bulb socket.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  Insert new bulb in bulb holder, taking care not to touch glass bulb with bare hands.
–  Press bulb holder for side lights into reflector until you feel it engage.
–  Close housing cover.
–  Secure housing cover with retaining spring.
