Testing throttle valve control unit J338 > < Meaning of the EPC warning lamp ( fault lamp for electric accelerator control K132 ) in the dash panel insert

Inspecting fault lamp for the EPC
–  Switch on ignition.
Electronic power control fault lamp -K132- must light up.
If the electronic power control fault lamp -K132- does not light up with the ignition switched on.
–  Replace dash panel insert → Electrical System → Rep. Gr.90.
–  Start engine and run in idle.
The electronic power control fault lamp -K132- must go out after a few seconds.
If the electronic power control fault lamp -K132- does not go out.
–  Interrogate fault memory of engine control unit → Chapter and rectify any faults existing.
–  Erasing fault memory → Chapter.
If no fault is stored:
–  Testing data BUS → Chapter or → Electrical system → Rep. Gr.90.
