Self-diagnosis II > < Actuate secondary air pump relay J299 :

Actuate injectors N30 to N33:

Actuate injectors -N30- to -N33-:

–	Press → key.

Readout on display:

The injector closes 5x.

–	The next injector is operated by pressing the → button.

–	Test all the injectors one after the other in this way.

If one of the injectors is not actuated:

–	Test resistance of injector → Chapter.

–	Test cables for open circuit, short circuit to earth and to positive → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations

–	Select function 06 “End output” and switch ignition off.

Note

The ignition must be switched off after final control diagnosis is ended. If the ignition is not switched off before the engine is started, the engine will not start as the injectors and the ignition transformer are not operated.
