ComponentAggregate state of refrigerantPressure (bar overpressure)Temperature in Celsius
Air conditioning compressor - high pressure sideGasup to 20 bar up to +70°C
Condensor -7-from gas via vapour to liquidup to 20 barup to +70°C
Throttle -11-from liquid to vapourHigh pressure side up to 20 bar, low pressure side greater than 1.0 barHigh pressure side up to +60°C, low pressure side warmer than -4°C
Evaporator -12-from vapour to gasgreater than 1.0 barwarmer than -4°C
Catch pan -15-Gas
Air conditioning compressor - low pressure sideGas

The „regulating“ AC compressor maintains the pressures on the low pressure side at approx. 2 bar (corresponds to approx. 1 bar overpressure) even at different engine speeds. This is only valid within the performance range of the AC compressor. If the performance ranges of the AC compressor are exceeded → Chapter.
