Removing and installing engine speed senderG28
Removing and installing engine speed sender -G28-
The engine speed sender -G28- is a speed and reference marking sender. If the speed signal fails with the engine running this could result in an engine stoppage.
Removing
   
–  Disconnect the 3-pin plug -1- or -2- (depending on the engine version) of the engine speed sender -G28-. The plug is accessible from below.
  A24-0387
–  Remove fixing screw -arrow- and take off engine speed sender -G28-.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
t  When changing the sender, pay attention to the part number of the engine speed sender -G28-.
t  Tightening torque: 5 Nm
