q   81-pin
q   Insert or remove plug when the ignition is switched off
q   unlock for removing
3 - Engine control unit-J220-
q   Fitting location → Chapter
q   removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Connector
q   40-pin
q   Insert or remove plug when the ignition is switched off
q   unlock for removing
5 - Air filter
q   Summary of components → Chapter
6 - 10 Nm
7 - to air guide pipe
8 - Air intake hose
q   to secondary air pump -V101-
9 - 10 Nm
10 - Connector
q   for coolant temperature sender -G62-
11 - Coolant temperature sender -G62-
q   before removing, reduce pressure in cooling system if necessary
12 - Retaining clip
q   check correct fitting
13 - Connector
q   3-pin, grey
q   for engine speed sender -G28-
14 - O-ring
q   replace if damaged

16 - Lambda probe downstream of catalytic converter -G130-, 50 Nm
q   coat only thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-; hot bolt paste must not get into the slot of the probe body
17 - Plug connection for lambda probe downstream of catalytic converter

18 - Lambda probe upstream of catalytic converter -G39-, 50 Nm
q   coat only thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3-; hot bolt paste must not get into the slot of the probe body
q   Fitting location: in the exhaust manifold
19 - Plug connection for lambda probe upstream of catalytic converter
q   6-pin
20 - Bottom part of intake manifold
q   Summary of components → Chapter
21 - Fuel rail with injection valves

22 - Fuel return-flow line
q   blue
q   secure with spring strap clamps
q   Check fitting position
q   to the fuel delivery unit in the fuel tank
23 - Fuel feed line
q   black
q   secure with spring strap clamps
q   Check fitting position
q   from fuel filter
24 - Gasket
q   replace if damaged
q   Check fitting position
25 - To crankcase vent valve
26 - Air intake hose
