Coding dash panel insert
Coding dash panel insert
Spare part dash panel inserts are already coded.
–  Connect vehicle system tester -V.A.G 1552- and select “Dash panel insert” (address word 17); ignition is switched on → Chapter.
–  Check the coding.
If the coding is not correct for the vehicle version code the dash panel insert.
  Note
For vehicles with dash panel insert 6Y0 920 xxx x, the dash panel insert must be coded with Vehicle Diagnosis, Measurement and Information System -VAS 5051 -.

–  Enter function 07“Coding control unit” and confirm with Q.
