Removing, checking and installing suction jet pump
  Note
t  Due to the shape (structure) of the fuel tank on vehicles with four-wheel drive, the fuel must be pumped out of the chamber of the fuel gauge sender 2 -G169- with a suction jet pump to the fuel pump.
t  A test must be carried out, if the engine stalls due to fuel shortage, although the fuel gauge still indicates 1/4 fuel in the fuel tank.
Removing
–  Remove fuel pump → Chapter.
–  Remove fuel gauge sender 2 -G169- → Chapter
–  Pull out suction jet pump through the opening of the fuel gauge sender 2 -G169 - (left vehicle side).
Inspection
–  Check if the fuel lines are firmly connected to the suction jet pump and if they are not damaged.
–  Check the suction jet pump additionally for possible soiling.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
