| Remove intake hose -1--arrows-. |
| The ventilation hose -2- remains attached. |
| –
| Detach pressure and vacuum hose from combination valve. |
| –
| Slacken top union nut at connection pipe guided from the secondary air pump to the combination valve. |
| –
| Unscrew protective cap for inside constant velocity joint from engine. |
| –
| Unscrew connection pipe from the exhaust manifold. |
| –
| Unscrew combination valve with joint insert. |
| –
| Fit the fixing screw through the heat shield from below with an auxiliary tool. |
| –
| Hold the screw tight from above (the assistance of a 2nd mechanic is required). |
| –
| Insert 5 mm hexagon socket with joint insert into the screw head. |
| –
| Position the combination valve from above (the assistance of a 2nd mechanic is required) and tighten the fixing screws to 10 Nm. |
| Further installation occurs in reverse order. |
