Brakes, hydraulics, regulator, servo > < Setting, removing and installing the brake light switchF and brake pedal switchF47 until 10.05
Removing and installing brake light switch F and brake pedal switch F47 as of 11.05
Removing and installing brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F47- as of 11.05
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Brake filling and bleeding device e.g. -VAS 5234-.
Removing:
For engines TDI PD and TDI CR
–  Remove master brake cylinder → Chapter
   
–  Screw out screw -2- from master brake cylinder.
–  Take switch -3- out of the lock -4-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
–  After completing work which involved opening the brake system, bleed brake system with brake filling and bleeding device, e.g. -VAS 5234-.

Tightening torque:
Brake light switch -F- and brake pedal switch -F47- to brake cylinder5 Nm

Inspection:
→ Vehicle diagnostic tester
