This engine is equipped with an additional radiator for coolant of charge air system → Chapter.
1 - Radiator
q   removing and installing → Chapter
q   after replacing fill entire system with fresh coolant
2 - O-ring
q   replace if damaged
3 - Top coolant hose
q   To connection fitting at cylinder head
q   connection diagram for coolant hoses → Chapter
4 - Coolant hose
q   to the expansion reservoir
5 - Spring strap clamp
q   use spring strap clips, e.g. -VAS 6340-, for removing and installing
6 - Coolant hose
q   to coolant pipe for additional radiator for coolant of charge air system
7 - Connecting pipe
8 - Expansion reservoir
q   with coolant shortage warning light sender -G32-
q   Check the cooling system for tightness → Chapter
9 - Connector
10 - Screw cap
q   Testing the pressure relief valve in the cap → Chapter
11 - 3 Nm
12 - Plastic inserts
q   for fixing screws
13 - Support
14 - Fan shroud
q   removing and installing → Chapter
15 - 5 Nm
16 - Right radiator fan -V35-
q   removing and installing → Chapter
17 - Connector
18 - Radiator fan -V7-
q   with radiator fan control unit -J293-
q   removing and installing → Chapter
19 - Support
q   for connector
20 - Bottom coolant hose
q   to the connection fitting for the coolant regulator
21 - Clamp
q   check tightness
22 - Coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet -G83-
23 - 5 Nm
24 - 5 Nm
q   Fitted to additional radiator for coolant of charge air system → Chapter
