Connection diagram for vacuum hoses > < Removing and installing exhaust gas turbocharger
Removing and installing the exhaust gas temperature sender 1G235
Removing and installing the exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Extension SW 17 from the set of tools -T10395-
Removing
For the vehicles Fabia II, Roomster
   
–  Disconnect plug connection -1- for exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235- and expose electrical cable.
For the vehicles Octavia II, Superb II, Yeti
  N26-10416
–  Disconnect plug connection -3- for exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235- and expose electrical cable.
For vehicles Rapid
  A23-10003
–  Disconnect plug connection -1- from exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235- and expose electrical cable.
Vehicles with four-wheel drive
–  Remove propshaft → Gearbox; Rep. gr.39.
Continued for all vehicles
  N26-10756
–  Unscrew the exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235--1- from the exhaust manifold using the extension SW 17 from the set of tools -T10395-.
Install
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the following points:
  Note
t  The thread of the new temperature sender must be coated with assembly paste.
t  Grease only the thread with hot bolt paste -G 052 112 A3- for re-used temperature sender.
t  All cable straps should be fastened again in the same place when installing.
Fitting position exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235-:
  A21-10155
l  The dimension -a- should not be less than 0.5 mm.
Tightening torque:
t  Fabia II, Roomster, Rapid → Chapter.
t  Octavia II, Superb II, Yeti → Chapter.
