| When installing new pistons or a short engine, inspect the piston projection at TDC. Depending on the piston projection fit the relevant cylinder head seal in accordance with the table below. |

| If different values are measured during the projection measurement of the piston, the greatest dimension applies for the seal assignment. |

| The cylinder head seal must be determined separately for each cylinder bank. |
