Replacing needle bearing for two-mass flywheel
Replacing needle bearing for two-mass flywheel
Only on vehicles with manual gearbox.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Interior extractor -Kukko 21/2-
t  Countersupport -Kukko 22/1-
t  Mandrel -T30083 (3264)-
  Note
When installing the engine on vehicles with manual gearbox, check whether the needle bearing is built into the two-mass flywheel. Install the needle bearing as required.
Removing
–  Pull the needle bearing out of the two-mass flywheel using the interior extractor with countersupport, e.g. Kukko 21/2 and Kukko 22/1.
Install
Fitting position of the needle bearing:
t  The marked side of the needle bearing must point to the crankshaft.
–  Drive in using a mandrel -T30083 (3264)-
Depth of installation of the needle bearing:
t  Dimension of the flywheel contact surface a = 24.5 ± 0.25 mm.
