Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Lifting device -MP 9-201 (2024A)-
t  Engine mount -MP 1-202-
t  Assembly stand -MP 9-101-
t  Workshop crane, e.g. -VAS 6100-
Work procedure
–  Remove engine/gearbox connecting screws.
–  Press gearbox from engine.
   
–  Hook on the lifting device -MP 9-201- as follows and raise the engine with the workshop crane from the engine mount -T10359-.
  WARNING
Use securing pins on the hooks and rig pins, in order to avoid injuries and damages to the engine.
Secure the engine with engine mount -MP 1-202- on the assembly stand -MP 9-101- before performing assembly work.
–  Unscrew gearbox from engine.

–  Screw engine mount -MP 1-202- to engine and secure to the assembly stand -MP 9-101-.
