t  Set of tools -T10133-
t  Removal tool -T10133/16-
  Note
The tool Puller -T10133/2- was modified and has now the designation Puller -T10133/2A -. If you do not have the new tool yet, you can carry out the change yourself.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Round file approx. 6 mm
   
–  Refine a semi circle as shown in the illustration. The tool can be pushed onto the injector through the semi circle and thus the tool has more contact surface.
–  Mark the machined tool with an „A“ at the end of the tool number.

Injection valve - Individual parts
1 - Combustion chamber gasket ring (Teflon gasket ring) - Replace. When installing, the combustion chamber gasket ring must not be greased ot treated with a lubricant.
2 - Check intermediate ring, fitting position: The cone points to the valve.
3 - Injector
4 - Replace slotted supporting ring.
5 - O-ring, replace. Before fitting moisten lightly with clean engine oil.
6 - Supporting element (the fuel distributor exerts a force via this supporting element, which holds the injector in the cylinder head)
Removing
–  Remove intake manifold with fuel distributor → Chapter.
–  Seal intake passages with a clean cloth.

–  Remove the supporting elements -A- and disconnect the plugs -arrows- from the injection valves.

–  Position the puller -T10133/2A- into the groove at the injection valve.
–  Then fit on the removal tool -T10133/16- and unplug the injection valve by turning the screw -1-.
  Note
Pay attention to the intermediate ring.
Install
  Caution
When installing, the combustion chamber gasket ring (Teflon gasket ring) must not be greased ot treated with a lubricant.
  Note
An open inlet valve can possibly prevent a cleaning. In this case it will be necessary to rotate the engine on the crankshaft with a wrench by hand.

–  Thoroughly clean the holes of the high pressure injection valves in the cylinder head with the nylon brush -T10133/4-.

–  Replace the combustion chamber gasket ring (Teflon gasket ring) -1- of the injection valves → Chapter.
–  Replace the supporting ring -4- and the O-ring -5- (moisten lightly with clean engine oil).
–  Mount the intermediate ring -2-.

–  Use the striking hammer -T10133/3- with the puller -T10133/2A-, in order to press the injection valve up to the stop into the hole of the cylinder head.

–  Pay attention to the correct position of the injection valves in the cylinder head -arrow-.
–  Fit supporting element.
–  Install intake manifold with fuel distributor → Chapter.
