Replace fuel pressure senderG247
Replace fuel pressure sender -G247-
If the fuel pressure sender -G247- fails, the fuel pressure regulating valve - N276- is deactivated, the electric fuel pump is fully actuated and the engine is operated with the available fuel pressure. This reduces drastically the engine torque.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Assembly device -T10118-
t  Socket wrench insert, 27 mm
Removing
  WARNING
The fuel system is under pressure! Before opening the high pressure of the injection system, the fuel pressure with a remaining pressure must be reduced → Chapter.
   
–  Unscrew coolant pipe -arrows- from intake manifold.
  A24-10446
–  Release the connector from fuel pressure sender -G247--1- with the assembly device -T10118-.
–  Unscrew the fuel pressure sender -G247-.
Install
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. However, pay attention to the following:
t  Tightening torques: → Chapter
