SUBJECT:
Sub-woofer Wiring Harness Re-routing
INTRODUCTION
If you encounter a customer complaint that the (blue) sub-woofer wiring harness is exposed, use the following procedure to re-route the harness.
REPAIR PROCEDURES
1)
Record the pre-set radio stations.
2)
Position (left front) drivers seat so that the front bolts that secure the seat are accessible
3)
Remove the 2 front seat bolts.
4)
Slide and tilt the seat forward to gain access to the 2 rear bolts.
5)
Remove the 2 drivers seat bolt covers at rear of slide rail (see Figure 1).
6)
Remove the 2 rear bolts.
7)
Disconnect ground cable from battery.
8)
Carefully remove parking brake cover.
